In todays life wether professional or personal person to person interactoin is the key to success. Be it your boss in the job ,yr. wife at home yr freind yr. kids , yr success lies in the fact that,how you win over others . In hindu polity there are four methods of winning over even a stubborn unmanageable person or an enemy
SAMA(Good counsel) -By mild approach , appeal to reason, good counsel.

DAANA(Temptation) -By offering monetary or other benefits.

DANDA(Punishment) -By punishing or threat of punishing or by using physical force or by showing physical force
BHEDA(Tact)-- By tact and diplomacy ,by employing speis or secret propaganda.
